Homemade Healthy Energy drink

With all these big brands producing sport drinks, the true fact of the sugar content and other artificial ingredients isn't actually what us as dancers need.

Most drinks we have can dehydrate us causing a lack on mental capacity, physical endurance as well as many other issues. By creating this drink at home- you are getting essential minerals helping being absorbed in the drink, as well as a more sustained energy kick with the help of osmosis (the diffusion of water through a partly permeable membrane from a high concentration to a low concentration area [or in English how water moves through a layer of skin with the 'trade' of salt]).

You need

- water

- water bottle

- orange juice

- Himalayan or pink salt (has essential minerals left in the salt unlike table salt that often has them removed in the process)

Optional

- lemons

- ginger

- berries

To make

In your bottle add 2 parts of water to 1 part of juice, add a pinch of salt and VOILA you are done.

The beauty of this simple recipe is you can tailor it with anything you fancy and tailor to your tastes. I recommended lemon, or substituting the orange juice for home made squeezed berries.
