Level Three Yoga Instructor
Starting September 2019, Tammie is embarking upon her masters qualification whilst creating opportunities within the community. Stay Updated with her blogs.
Tammie will be learning a range of skills within placement around Person Centered therapy, through talking and movement.
Tammies' new adventure. In 2019 Tammie undertook her yoga qualification in order to bring it with a dance class or psychotherapy session. Her hybrid forms entail a range of practices creating a unique experience with benefit to the participant at the utmost importance.
Themes of these sessions are around: doubt, self confidence, anxiety, letting go

Training and Volunteering
Throughout her training, Tammie has always volunteered in a health and well being setting. Working at TwinkleHouse, UK, and Opening Doors, Malta, Tammie has been entrusted with vulnerable individuals whilst tailoring and creating lesson plans through dance, yoga and relaxation scripts. Tammie has helped in a managerial role in Opening Doors as the company prepared for their touring show.

Tammie Nawathe is trained in; Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial, Musical Theatre; with skills in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Capoeria, African Diaspora and Bollywood.
Ba (hons) Dance and Drama with ERASMUS
From 2015-2019 Tammie studied at Edge Hill University on a joint honors masters program. She undertook many projects; including choreographing, teaching, and writing. She spent a year studying in Malta gaining extra academic and practical knowledge and working closely with many companies overseas.
Throughout University Tammie began her journey into Circus skills, aerial silk, pole dance and pointe work.She hopes to develop Cyr Wheel in the coming months.

Companies
Working alongside TwinkleHouse in the North West of England, Tammie has help facilitate classes for vulnerable children- implementing meditation scripts and behavior adjustment alongside a dance movement psychotherapist. She gained vital first-hand experience in working with disabilities.
Opening Doors in Malta allowed her to continue development into her blogging as she wrote about the show, helped out in sessions prior to the companys final performance and working with vulnerable adults. She managed to work with a language barrier with some participants who only spoke Maltese.

Blogging
Having started in 2016, Tammie has been recording her dancing day, meditation journeys and articles surrounding her continuous study. Each blogpost aims to offer insight into the 'real world' of performance and therapy and offers tips and insights.

Choreographing and Teaching
Having worked both nationally and internationally Tammie has delivered dance classes professionally for several years. They have included sessions for international students were English is not their first language.
With a new choreography every year, Tammie will explore personal and emotional themes to educate around social and political events.
