Skate Park on the way to the University

The Graffitti is always being updated and even has "seasonal themes"

The Dance space is past the University in a town called "San Gwann". It is in an industrial estate, first floor, with two studio spaces. As you come in you are greeted with 3 sofas and beanbags (that we often use when having theoretical lectures in the space). The largest studio is the first one to the right, and to get to the second you walk down the corridor of desks and chairs to find another half sized studio and the dance offices. The below image was taken in the second studio. The mirrors scale the longest wall parallel to where my back is, and the windows form the width of the space.

VALLETTA-

I love the Sliema-Valletta ferry that works out cheaper, faster and nicer than the bus routes, the events held in the Capital such as "Notte Biance", where every building, museum, theatre was open and free to the public including the underground tunnels (BEST PART OF CENTRAL VALLETTA).

However, my favourite part is when you venture out of the brick, to the waters edge and find natural beauty (below).

Malta has 365 Churches (enough for one a day) and though I am yet to go into one for Sunday Mass [i will before i finish my ERASMUS year] i have seen some beautiful architecture hidden around in unlikely places. To my surprise some of the most beautiful building I have found are abandoned and left to nature.

(I love how the walls are built here- I am a little obsessed)

My life has pretty much consisted of being in the studios 12 hours a day. However, in this time i have been out with the flat and dance girls, as well as rehearsals for my performance. They are my flavour of Malta where i am trying to learn phrases in Maltese and come into classes practising counting to 10.

Malta is full of beautiful places when you have time to explore. My favourite trip to date was exploring the northern countryside, and now in the New Year i will seek to really delve into the country. Being out by water or fields really relaxes me and makes my "ballet ability" less restricted and tense, which now I know my capability I can bring the love and freedom of travelling back into my dancing.
